Another successful EAD Approval Just in Time to Celebrate Thanksgiving!

Another successful EAD Approval Just in Time to Celebrate Thanksgiving!

Just in time for Thanksgiving, another client has been approved for their Employment Authorization Document (EAD)! This Thanksgiving, our staff at Heiderscheidt Law Group is thankful for our clients who trust us to assist them in the EAD process so they can work in the US. Our entire office staff consists of first-generation Americans as well as employees who have gone through the EAD process themselves.

While individuals can apply independently for their EAD, applying at an immigration law firm ensures that paperwork is properly filled out and sent to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). We offer a safe and confidential space for clients to get one-on-one assistance when filing for their EAD. Attorney John W. Heiderscheidt has helped hundreds of immigrants navigate US immigration laws.

Client Approved for EAD

Client Approved for EAD

Our client was successfully approved for his Employment Authorization Document (EAD), allowing him to be employed in the US. Our bilingual office staff work one-on-one with each client to ensure that all their paperwork is properly filled out and submitted on time. Attorney John W. Heiderscheidt is always supportive of our clients and staff. “I am so pleased for our client. Thanks to the hardworking staff, another Subscription Lawyer client has permission to work lawfully.”

An EAD application can take up to 90 days for a client to be approved. Heiderscheidt Law Group helps more than 20 clients per week with EAD applications. Once the applicants are approved, they can legally work in the US. Heiderscheidt has helped over 1,000 people successfully navigate US immigration laws.

Attorney John W. Heiderscheidt attends Amundsen Park Rally in Support of Residents

Attorney John W. Heiderscheidt attended a rally in support of community members in Amundsen Park. The City of Chicago is pushing to have the Amundsen Park field house turned into a temporary housing facility for migrants. The field house could hold up to 200 migrants however, it would be taking away a valuable place for after-school activities. In a community of at-risk youths, the field house is a vital part of keeping kids in a safe environment and off the street.

While Heiderscheidt agrees that migrants need shelter, he also understands the importance of members of the community having a voice. “It is imperative for the city to immediately find viable, realistic humane living quarters for new arrivals. The city cannot simply ignore the zoning laws that have been firmly established. All city residents, citizens and migrants alike, have the right to dignity, respect, and consideration in the way this man-made disaster is being managed.”
